10 Feb 2021 – Calling all over 55s with chronic disease for Covid Vaccination
We have invited all over 65s, the clinically vulnerable, and those over 55 who have chronic diseases, by text and are contacting others by phone. If you fit into these categories and have not been contacted, or are having difficulty booking your appointment please call us for assistance. COVID19 vaccination appointments are offered for the most vulnerable patients first. People in next groups will be invited soon. We are offering both Pfizer and Astra Zeneca vaccines but do not know in advance which vaccine will be delivered on a given day.
Front line health and care workers are one of the priority one groups as such will be receiving an invitation to access a vaccination through the mass vaccination centres by 14th February. Vaccinations are also available through a bookable service at Hillingdon Hospital – this must be accessed via the employer who will liaise with either London Borough of Hillingdon (care staff), the CCG (health staff) or H4All (third sector staff) to access slots. You will need your NHS number to hand at the point of booking. When you attend please take photo ID and proof of employment.
Please DO NOT call the practice unless we have left you a message asking you to do so. If you have recently changed your phone number please update us by secure online message or voicemail on our phone system. We encourage all patients who have not already registered for secure online access (such as the NHS APP) do so as soon as possible.

4 Jan 2021 – COVID infections rise
During December, Covid infections have risen sharply in London and this has led to increased demand for hospital care. Please be aware the 111 service is currently under extreme pressure in our area. GP surgeries are open as normal, except on weekends and bank holidays. If you need non-covid medical help please use the secure eConsult option (above). If you have COVID symptoms, please go to www.111.nhs.uk or call 111. In a medical emergency, you should dial 999 as usual. Happy New Year to all our patients.
COVID19 Reminder: Please do not come to the surgery unless you have been asked to do so by your GP. Use the NHS 111 online service for advice. Check your symptoms. Please ensure you wear a face covering when visiting the surgery.
